How we use the details you share

1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Student’s name
• Parent / guardian’s name
• Mobile number
• Current school
• The stream, course and subject combination you are interested in
• A record of your consent: the time you gave it and the version of the wording you saw
• Which advertisement or link brought you to this page (campaign tags in the web address), so we know which of our ads work. This does not identify you personally.

We do not ask for Aadhaar, marks, photographs, email address, home address or any financial detail in this form.

3. Why we collect it

Only to contact you about I PU admissions for 2027–28: to call, SMS or WhatsApp you, answer your questions, help you choose a stream and combination, and invite you to visit the campus. We will not use your details for anything unrelated, and we will never sell them.

4. Students are children: consent is given by the parent or guardian

Applicants to I PU are usually under 18. That is why the form must be submitted by the parent or legal guardian, who confirms this by ticking the consent box. We do not track or monitor students’ behaviour and we do not target advertising at children.

5. Who can see your details

• Our admissions team, who need them to contact you.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf: Google (Google Sheets, where enquiries are stored) and Netlify (the web hosting that delivers this page and receives the form). Their servers may be located inside or outside India.

We do not share your details with other schools, coaching companies or advertisers.

6. Security

The form is sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Your details go to a secure server function, which checks them and passes them on to a private Google Sheet that only authorised staff can open. The address and password of that Sheet are never visible on this web page. To prevent misuse we temporarily use your device’s network address to limit repeated submissions; we do not store it with your enquiry.

7. How long we keep it

Only as long as needed for the 2027–28 admissions process. If you do not join us, we will delete or anonymise your enquiry within 12 months after admissions close. If you do join, your details become part of the student’s admission record and are handled under the college’s admission and records policy.

8. Cookies and trackers

This page does not set cookies and does not use advertising trackers. Your browser may temporarily remember which advertisement brought you here, only to attach that to your enquiry if you submit it.

9. Your rights

You may, at any time:

• ask what details we hold about you and how they are being used;
• ask us to correct or complete them;
• withdraw your consent and ask us to erase your details;
• make a complaint (see below).

To do any of this, call or WhatsApp +91 82961 65736, or visit the admissions office with your name and mobile number. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and will not affect any service you are entitled to. We will act on your request promptly.

10. Grievances

If you have a concern about how your details are handled, please contact our Grievance Officer, Admissions Office, BMS PU College, at the address above or on +91 82961 65736. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, once it is in operation.

11. Changes to this notice

If we change what we do with your details, we will update this page and its version number, and ask for your consent again where the law requires.
